Baby Savings
Here are some tips for saving with a baby in the house:
1. Use cloth diapers instead of disposables. There are a ton of cloth diaper styles to choose from. They range from the super cheap to the expensive. The all-in-ones are an expensive initial investment costing about $15.00 each, but they are a diaper and outer liner all in one, and have snaps that adjust as the baby grows older. 2. Breastfeeding is a money saver that is good for mom and baby. 3. Buy reusable breast pads as opposed to disposable ones. This way you can reuse them over again after washing. 4. If you choose not to breastfeed or are unable to, then you can save on formula by signing up for the membership programs with the formula companies. Most membership programs will send you a ton of coupons towards money off of purchases, and sometimes a can or two of free formula. 5. Another way to save money is to make your own baby wipes by combining soapy water and paper towels, or buying wipes in the bulk refill packs.
