Working From Home
Gas is expensive! Stay home! Here are some home job ideas, and other ways to bring work home with you
1. If your job duties accomodate it, ask your boss to entertain the idea of telecommuting. This way you could continue working with your current employer, but you would be doing it from home. This saves you transportation expenses, and saves your employer overhead costs.
2. Ask your boss about changing to a flex schedule in which you would work part of the week at the office, and part of the week from home.
3. Go part-time.
4. Cut a day or so out of your weekly commute by working four 10-hour days as opposed to five 8-hour days.
5. Become a daycare provider.
6. Become a pet sitter, or dog walker.
7. Fill out online surveys for cash and promotional offers.
8. Become a secret shopper.
9. Become a freelance writer.
10. Start an ebay business
11. Join a ready made business. There are tons out there to choose from, and the key is to find one that interests you. Some examples are Avon, Tupperware, etc.
12. Sign your car up for rolling advertising. This is where a company completely covers your car with bright advertisements, and pays you so much to drive around like that. There is usually a certain amount of miles that you need to drive in order to keep the contract.
13. Become a telemarketer from home.
